Toseland back in front

James Toseland has moved to first place in the hunt for the WSB title after winning race one and coming second in race two at Assen on Sunday (Sep 5).

The young Brit is now a slender three points clear of nearest rival Chris Vermeulen.

Vermeulen won the second race, with Haga in third. Frankie Chili was second to Toseland in race one with Regis Laconi completing the podium.

Britain’s Leon Haslam claimed a creditable sixth in each race.
