Haga tops warmup

Noriyuki Haga has topped the World Superbike warmup session on a gloriously sunny Sunday morning at Brands Hatch.

The crowds have already poured in to catch the first session of the day and see the Japanese Yamaha rider beat pole-sitter Troy Corser to the best time by 0.131 seconds.

Regis Laconi took the third fastest time followed by Brit Chris Walker on the PSG-1 Kawasaki ZX-10R.

The Winston Ten-Kates of Karl Muggeridge and Chris Vermeulen took the next two places followed by Lorenzo Lanzi and Max Neukirchner.

World champion James Toseland and Suzuki rider Yukio Kagayama took the final two places in the top ten.

The traffic is pretty clear on the way in to the circuit but the police are out in force so be carefull if you are heading down to watch the first superbike race at 12pm.
