The split is described as amicable, with Foret and the team both feeling that the results to date do not reflect their aspirations, with the French rider enountering problems with adapting in his first year on a superbike. Foret won the World Supersport championship in 2002 on a Honda, but did not finish higher than fourth in the following years, before swtiching to superbikes with Alstare Suzuki for 2006.

Meanwhile Neukirchner will be replaced on the Pedercini Ducati by Amercian Kurtis Roberts.
