The British Diablo 666 World Endurance team has signed young Estonian Marko Rohtlaan to ride alongside Brit James Hutchins for 2006.

Rohtlaan first rode in the championship in 2004, and is a Shell Endurance Acdemy graduate. He’s Estonia’s most successful bike racer, and finished the 2005 season in sixth place. He’ll join Hutchins who has ridden for the Diablo team since it was formed two years ago.

“We are at heart a young team and Marko fits exactly the kind of really talented young rider we have been looking for,” said team manager Miles Hutchins. ” He’ll be highly compatible with Diablo’s business-like approach to racing but at the same time will add a real strength and flair to the team.”

Diablo 666 finished the 2005 season in fifth place in the World Endurance championship. Testing for the coming season begins at Jerez in Spain on January 28, 2006, with the Assen 500km race starting the season in April.
