Hodgson still waits for Foggy deal

Neil Hodgson’s nails were short last week, and they won’t have got any longer since.

The former British and World Superbike star is still waiting to hear from Carl Fogarty’s Foggy Racing team if a much-touted sponsorship deal for the squad which will mean all systems are go for racing in 2007 is in place yet.

Foggy was due a meeting this week with a sponsor, and though it is reported to have gone well, there is still no deal in place for the team, for bikes, or for the mooted star signing, Hodgson.

A spokesman said: “Neil is still prepared to wait for Carl to do whatever he needs to do to get everything in place.”
