With his first test completed, Carlos Checa believes that his decision to quit MotoGP and join Ten Kate Honda in World Superbikes is the best decision of his life.

Carlos Checa has followed fellow MotoGP refugee Max Biaggi to World Superbikes after enduring a nightmare two seasons in the premier class with the Dunlop shod Yamaha Tech 3 team in 2006 and the LCR Honda team in 2007.

In an exclusive interview with MCN, The outspoken Spaniard reveals the problems he faced in MotoGP, what it was like to ride the tiny Honda RCV212 and how proud he is to be replacing James Toseland in the championship winning Hannspree Ten Kate Honda squad.
