Brands Hatch WSB: GR Motorsport's British wild card entry

GR Motorsport have one of the few British wild card entries at this weekend’s Brands Hatch World Superbikes round but are intending to use it as a springboard to a return to the European stage.

The team, run by former racer Brent Gladwin have an entry for the FIM Cup Superstock race and will field regular rider Jon Boy Lee. 

The 21-year-old’s performances this year have shown a constant improvement and Brent Gladwin said: “We feel that it is right to show case at this event with a view to the future as we evaluate our racing plans and for which series in 2008. We’d like to return to international racing.”

“We won the very first European Superstock Championship with Karl Harris in 1999 and now the series has changed from a European title to a World cup it would be nice to try and lift that title and make a full set for the Team.”
