Assen World Supersport: Jonathan Rea and Craig Jones on provisional front row

Brits Jonathan Rea and Craig Jones concluded a strong opening day at the fourth round of the World Supersport Championship at Assen with both men securing a place on the provisional front row of the grid.

Rea took third spot behind Broc Parkes and Gianluca Nannelli having run at the top of the time sheets earlier on in the session.

Jones also spent the 45 minute session battling for top honours and ended up fourth fastest.

At the other end of the leader board Brits Chris Walker, Graeme Gowland and Kev Coughlan are yet to find the right set-up to escalate them up the leader board finishing 24th, 25th and 28th place respectively.
