A selection of the World Superbike paddock will be on track this week in a two day test at Valencia in Spain.

Alstare Suzuki, Ten Kate Honda, Yamaha Superbike Kawasaki Superbike and Aprilia are all set to complete the test on Wednesday and Thursday meaning that six of the seven WSB Brits will be in action.

The only Brit missing will be Altea Ducati man Shane Byre who is waiting for his 2010 specification Ducati to arrive.

With the next round of testing not taking place until the end of January in Portimao, the Valencia test will be crucial.

Jonathan Rea will be keen to maintain his sparkling end of season form, whilst burying the demons from the Valencia race this year where he retired in race one and slumped to 13th in race two.

Leon Haslam has already benefited from three successful days of testing in Australia in November, but will be keen to get on track with the implemented chassis and suspension changes onboard his Alstare Suzuki.

James Toseland knows will continue to reacquaint himself with the Superbike and will be hoping to rebuild his confidence onboard the Yamaha R1 at a track he knows well.

Cal Crutchlow won this years World Superport race and is never lacking confidence, but will have lots to test in only his second ride on the factory Yamaha Superbike.

Tom Sykes has already ridden the factory Kawasaki he will campaign in 2010 and will be hoping his shoulder injury sustained at the Magny Cours race will have improved to allow some meaningful testing at Valencia.

Leon Camier is no stranger to the Aprilia and is set to benefit massively from the test as the team continue to find the optimum setting for the newly crowned BSB Champion.
