Sofuoglu injured in first lap crash

World Supersport front runner Kenan Sofuoglu has been taken to hospital in Valencia following a crash on his out lap this morning in Valencia.

The 2007 WSS champion high sided his Ten Kate Honda exiting turn four. Sofuoglu landed heavily on his head and back, but his primary injury is a skinned finger, which he is currently being treated for.

The Turkish rider is expected to resume testing later today once he has been given the all clear.
