Yoshimura Suzuki to miss WSB debut at Assen

Yoshimura Suzuki have been forced to withdraw from their planned WSB debut at Assen this weekend.

The Japanese team have fallen victim to cancelled flights into Europe caused by the Iceland volcano, which has meant that they could not get bikes, parts and staff to the race in time.

Yoshimura plan to compete in three WSB rounds in 2010 before making a full time assault on the series in 2011.

Worx Suzuki BSB man Yukio Kagayama was due to ride this weekend in Assen, but instead the team could now make their debut at round five of the World Superbike Championship at Monza on 7th to 9th May.
