Max Biaggi names first son Leon

World Superbike champion Max Biaggi has named his first son after his biggest rival in 2010.

Biaggi and partner Eleonora Pedron have named their son Leon, who was born earlier today in Italy.

The four-times world 250GP champion defeated British rival Leon Haslam to win the World Superbike crown for the first time in 2010 for Aprilia.

Leon Alexandre is Biaggi’s second child. He has a 15-month daughter called Inés Angelica.
