Paolo Flammini will host an all top teams meeting of all the manufacturers at Miller Motorsports Park later this month to discuss the current state of the championship with a focus on grid numbers and ongoing technical regulations in both World Superbike and Supersport.

Leon Haslam debuted a new Arai Helmet design for the 2010 World Cup. The Drudi design features gold lions, South African cup flag and the names of all the 1966 World Cup winners.

Haslam will wear the Helmet up until England get knocked out. He is yet to say what he’ll do if they win!

The Xerox Ducati team moved out of their hotel on Saturday night following a burst water main meant that there was no water in the hotel.

The Sterilgarda Yamaha, Alstare Suzuki and Ten Kate Honda teams were also staying at the hotel, but elected to stay. The water came back on late Saturday night.

Troy Corser clashed with the FIM’s Claude Danis over safety at the Kyalami circuit. Corser said: “For me, the track is not clean enough and there is a also a particular problem going towards turn one with a new kerb.

“I went up to the FIM safety guy and he told me that he thought the track was clean enough and that he didn’t care what I thought! The least he should have done was to make another inspection instead of just ignoring us”

Aprilia boss Gigi Dall’Igna has told MCN that they will try and introduce the controversial gear driven cam motor at the next round in America.
