Imola WSB: Checa takes double win, Biaggi claims title

1 of 2

Althea Racing Ducati rider Carlos Checa won the second race today at this weekend's Imola World Superbike clash.

But fifth place and a did-not-finish for Leon Haslam (Alstare Suzuki) are enough to secure the 2010 World Superbike title for Aprilia Alitalia rider Max Biaggi.

Ducati Xerox rider Noriyuki Haga finished in second place, with Brit Cal Cruthclow in third for the Yamaha Sterilgarda team.

Fellow Brit Tom Sykes (Kawasaki SRT) finished in fourth position.
