Leon Camier will ride for the Crescent Suzuki Racing team in WSB in 2012 after signing a one-year deal with the British team. The deal is a dream signing for Camier, the Crescent team and UK fans who will get to see a thoroughbred all-British effort go head-to-head with their international WSB rivals.

Camier said: “There will be a big push to get me to the front of WSB. I can’t wait to get on the bike and see how I click with it.”

Camier has spent the last two seasons campaigning the factory Aprilia RSV4, finishing a respectable seventh in the overall standings this season, with four podiums. Although his season hasn’t always gone to plan due to technical issues, he has genuine front running pace and has valuable WSB experience.

Crescent are a multiple BSB race and championship-winning squad and proved they’re capable of running at the front of WSB, in August this year John Hopkins set pole position at Silverstone WSB while riding for Crescent.
