Cluzel wins two in a row

Jules Cluzel (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) scored a clear race win in the WSS class at Misano setting a new lap record on lap six, of 1’38.239, in the process.

In second place PJ Jacobsen (Core” Motorsport Thailand Honda) was chasing all the way but not quite able to match the pace of the three cylinder MV.

Lorenzo Zanetti (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) and Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) had a tough fight for the final podium place. On the last lap Sofuoglu made an error shortly after passing Zanetti for what seemed like a certain third, falling and restarting to finish 11th.

Behind the top the fight for midfield places had Gino Rea (CIA Landlords Insurance Honda) leading a pack of six riders, covered by just two seconds, on the final laps.

Rea held off Alex Baldolini (Race Department ATK #25 MV Agusta), Fabio Menghi (VFT Racing Yamaha), Christian Gamarino (Team Go Eleven Kawasaki), Riccardo Russo (CIA Landlords Insurance Honda), Marco Faccani (San Carlo Puccetti Racing Kawasaki) and Martin Cardenas (CIA Landlords Insurance Honda), who completed the top ten.
