The Pata Yamaha World Superbike machine of former World Superbike champion Sylvain Guintoli and former MCE British Superbike champion Alex Lowes has broken cover for the first time as part of Yamaha’s global racing launch in Barcelona.

The bikes were rolled out in a star-studded launch alongside the Movistar Yamahas of Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, the Monster Tech 3 Yamaha team of Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro and the 2015 MXGP champion Romian Febvre’s Monster Yamaha.

The team will now move direct from Barcelona to Portimao, completing a two day test at the Portuguese circuit before moving on to Jerez, where they will be joined by the Kawasaki Racing Team and Ten Kate Honda.
