Things to do at Donington World Superbikes

1 of 1

The Superbike World Championship returns where it all began this weekend as the sole British round of the series gets underway at Donington Park.

The iconic Derbyshire circuit plays host to the seventh round of this year’s championship and with Brits currently first, second and third in the title chase there’s good reason to stick the Union Jack and air horn in your rucksack and head on up.

Away from the on-track action, which should be epic if recent races are anything to go by, Donington Park has pulled out all the stops to help you make a weekend of it.

Open Paddock

For the very first time, the paddock is open to all for free this year – meaning you can brush shoulders with your favourite World Superbike stars for the price of your entry ticket!

This includes access to Dorna’s Paddock Show, which is open daily from 9am until 7pm from Friday to Sunday, with meet and greets, live race commentary from the stars, meet the Brits and a Q&A with four-time WSB champion and all-round legend Carl ‘Foggy’ Fogarty.

Don’t forget to drop in after each race to hear all the reaction (and maybe fall out?!) from the riders!

Meet Carl Fogarty

Carl Fogarty will be around all weekend and meeting fans at various locations across the venue.

Live music and acts at the Pitstop Restaurant

If you’re over for the duration or want to wait and beat the traffic, there is live music in the evenings at the Pitstop Restaurant. Also, to welcome our international guests there’s a taste of British cuisine with Chip Shop Friday ahead of a traditional Sunday roast on, yep you guessed it, Sunday.

Family Fun Zone

Taking the kids? There’s plenty to do on the infield with bouncy castles, trampolines, go karts, extreme wheelies (yep, you can learn to pull wheelies!), face painting, remote control cars and more.

Rider Q&As on the infield campsite

If you’re staying on the all-new infield campsite, there will be a rider Q&A on Saturday night at 6.30pm with Carl Fogarty, Alex Lowes, Kyle Ryde and Chaz Davies all set to appear.

Half price entry to the museum

There’ll be a voucher on the back of your ticket to give you half price entry to the Donington Grand Prix collection, featuring the largest display of Formula 1 cars in the world.
