WSB: O'Halloran in line for Red Bull Honda call-up

1 of 1

Jason O’Halloran has been lined up as a potential replacement for the Red Bull Honda World Superbike team should either Leon Camier or Jake Gagne be unfit for action at Imola next weekend.

MCN understands the Bennetts BSB star, who was on the podium last time out at Brands Hatch, will travel to the iconic Italian circuit next weekend as a reserve rider for the squad with both Camier and Gagne needing to be passed fit to ride.

Camier has been out of action since the nasty crash that saw him run over by Jordi Torres at Aragon last month and diagnosed with a number of fractured ribs and a lung contusion. His plan was to return for Imola, but has admitted his doctors aren’t so sure.

Gagne suffered a contusion to his C4 vertebrae in an incident during FP2 at Assen, ruling him out for the remainder of the weekend. He too is hoping to ride next weekend.
