BMW has set the price of the S1000RR road bike at £10,950 in the UK for the standard model. The S1000RR will also be available in a ‘Sport’ specification costing £12,235 OTR. BMW S1000RR makes public debut at Donington WSB

WSB fans are the first British bikers to get up close and personal with the new BMW S1000RR. The new 193bhp in-line four powered machine is not due in dealerships until December. WSB fans are being offered a sneak preview of the bike and the first chance to sit on it this weekend at the Donington Park round of WSB.

BMW S1000RR round the Nurburgring

BMW has just released this great onboard fottage of German racer Jurgen Fuchs on the new BMW S1000RR superbike testing at the old Nurburgring in Germany. Obviously a 1000cc 180bhp superbike is a bit quick and it must have given the other road riders a bit of a shock when Fuchs came past on the BMW.
