Suzuki has unwrapped the final 25th Anniversary GSX-R – a limited run of brown and cream GSX-R1000s.

Just 25 bikes are available with an £11,000 price tag as, available to order online only through the www.imgsx-r.com website. There’s very little difference in terms of specification – the only hard parts changed are the end cans, which are Yoshimura GP Evo road legal silencers.

The love it or loathe it paint scheme is unique to the anniversary bikes (of which there’s only 1000 worldwide, and 25 in the UK), and to complement the paint there’s a set of wheel rims stripes.

To remind you why you paid an extra £651 over the standard GSX-R1000, there’s a numbered plaque on the headstock, and you get a certificate of authenticity too. The anniversary GSX-R1000 follows the 25th Anniversary GSX-R600 and GSX-R750, which were also sold as 25-bike limited runs, but benefitted from classic GSX-R paints schemes.
