A special edition model BMW K1300S will be available in early 2012, complete with BMW’s own HP (high performance) Package.
The 175bhp sports-cum-tourer missile will feature an exclusive ‘Edition’ badge on the airbox cover, with striking white, black and blue paint scheme to set it apart from the standard K1300S.
HP components are liberally dotted around the bike and include carbon fibre front fender, airbox and clutch covers and single seat converter.
Performance aids include Akrapovic silencer, ESAII (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), ASC (Automatic Stability Control), tyre pressure monitor and heated grips. Tinted screen, HP adjustable footrests for rider and pillion, and a paddock stand also come as standard.
No price has been set for this latest K1300S but should be released in time for the bike’s appearance at Motorcycle Live at the NEC, 19-27 November.
