You are looking at a truly stunning and unique 996R... This is a 2 owner bike and the current owner has cherished it since 2005 and extensively personalised it for longevity and great expense. Just 500 of these bikes were produced in 2001 for the sole purpose of homologating the World Superbike which went on to win that year ridden by Troy Bayliss. It is thought that only 350 bikes had a numbered top yoke plaque and this is bike number 122. The bike has covered just 13,864 miles and just had a full service from us and previous to that, it has a full service history from JHP. In 2006, the bike was transformed by JHP with a blueprinted engine and many performance upgrades including increased cooling and stopping power and there is a fully itemised invoice to back up all the work carried out. The bike was featured in Superbike Magazine shortly after the built was completed and it has covered around 5,500 miles since then. The list of modifications to this bike is huge and all of the original part are included with the bike. Here are just a few of the main items fitted to the bike - Dymag carbon fibre wheels, Ducati 1098 brakes, Ducati Corse rearsets, SBK slipper clutch, JHP slave cylinder, JHP open clutch cover, 54mm Termignoni exhaust system, JHP oversized aluminium radiator, TransLogoc dash (covered 639 miles since fitting).
