At the rear, it is equipped with; - A Showa monoshock RSU with preload adjustment - A single 255mm disc, Nissin single-piston sliding calliper. Both front and rear brakes feature ABS. With a wet weight of 189kg and it being able to have an A2 conversion kit as an accessory fit it is a truly tremendous entry-level bike.
