MCN Fleet: 1290 Super Adventure S works #Ride5000miles goal

MCN’s campaign to encourage the motorcycle community to ride 5000 miles in 2017 has been a hit and has seen thousands of riders sign up – with a good number having already hit the 5000 mile target.

Clocking big miles on the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S is a pleasure and I’m now on the cusp of hitting the #ride5000miles target.

My commute to the MCN offices has made up a big part of this, but there have also been some great rides in and around the home counties and Northamptonshire along with one particularly good 650 mile trip in to Wales where the KTM was involved in an adventure bike group test and put up against the BMW R1200GS and Ducati Multistrada.

With summer now in full swing and a trip to the Aragon MotoGP race in Spain in September confirmed, the miles are going to be edging up each week; miles that I’m sure the KTM will take comfortably in its stride.
