TOP STORIES

Taking place between August 31 and September 3, The Great Mile will go through Scotland, Wales and England over 4 days taking in the very best that our fine Isle has to offer with like-minded riders.

The focus of the rally is on the journey, and not the finish line. It has been designed to give competitors the best experience as possible. Malle state that it’s about the competing and completing, not about the winning.

Riders can take part in teams or on their own and will be given three checkpoints to guide them down the country each day meaning with a final time trial event at the end of each day where competitors can earn extra rally points.

Each team will be assigned a GPS tracker, with their progress being transmitted via a live feed throughout the rally and there will also be a support truck to help those with mechanically-challenged-motorcycles.

When you book tickets you’ll be able to choose from three packages, which offer several options. You can get your bike transported to Scotland too, meaning that you just have to get yourself up to Inverness, where a coach will be waiting to complete the journey to the start line. Food and camping gear can also be taken will be taken care of by the Malle team.
