Ducati Museum to open on Sundays

1 of 1

The Ducati Museum in Bologna is now open on Sundays from 9am to 6pm for the course of the summer.

The extra day means the museum is now open six days a week, with it being closed on Wednesdays.

Last September the Ducati Museum had a refresh with new graphics and a new layout which gives greater emphasis to the firm’s road bikes. Ducati say the new layout “provides a narrative developed through three channels: the history of the Ducati production motorcycles and the socio-cultural context from which they derive; the history of racing seen through most representative racing bikes and winning trophies on display; Ducati Moments linked to events, people and technological innovations that have contributed to the history of Ducati; and Ducati Heroes – the riders who have competed for Ducati.”

TOP STORIES

The Ducati Museum averages 40,000 visitors a year and out of 43 museums in Bologna is the second most visited. It has won the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence four times.

MCN visited the Ducati Museum earlier this year, and you can see a video of the new layout below.
