BMW report says ‘no more retros’

There will be no further models in the BMW R nineT range according to an annual report. In it, BMW say the “R nineT family is now complete” and they highlight the launch of the Urban G/S, Pure and Racer.

It was thought a Bobber may be on the way after the supercharged R5 Hommage concept bike was unveiled last year. However, it now seems that BMW are focusing their attention elsewhere while rivals such as Ducati continue to expand their retro range with a whole new family of R nineT-challenging 1100 Scramblers.
