Most powerful Kawasaki KX250 yet announced for 2020

Kawasaki have released details of their 2020 off-road line up, which includes the most powerful KX250 to date. The new engine 250 uses finger follower valves (like those found in the latest ZX-10RR) among other changes to achieve a 3.2bhp power increase over the outgoing model.

The bike also uses downdraft-style intake routing to increase cylinder-filling efficiency and larger diameter throttle body increases high-rev performance.

As well as the KX250, the 2020 Kawasaki range will also include four more KX machines; the KX450, KX65 and KX85 (small and big wheel variants).

Enduro duties will continue to be taken by the KLX450R, while youngsters can find their way onto two wheels on the KLX110, a more easy-going option than the two-stroke KX racers.
