The investment from Pitalia Capital will enable the British brand to invest in new models and embrace the pent-up demand across Europe and beyond. The cash injection will also help homologate CCM bikes for other key markets.

There are also plans for all-new models and for the Bolton factory to be modernised. CCM have enjoyed great success in recent years with the Spitfire series which has heralded a range of scramblers, flat trackers, bobbers and Carl Fogarty tribute machines.

This investment also sees the company looking to recruit 14 new staff mambers to provide the infrastructure to support the ambitious growth plans.

CCM Director Austin Clews said: “We are really excited about the next stage of our journey which will see a new ambition to take CCM into international markets.”

Pitalia Captial is also Bolton-based and got involved with CCM after the head of the company Anil Pitalia saw one of the firm’s stunning RAF Spitfires. He loved the bike so much that he decided to look at investing in the company.

CCM’s Head of Customer Operations John Drogan added: “This investment is beyond our wildest dreams and will allow us to do a lot of things we simply couldn’t before.”
