Fancy a MotoGP-style track school like no other? Well, that’s what KTM are promising with their new ‘Academy of Speed’ next summer.

The Austrian manufacturer have created two-day events at three different continental tracks for 2024, with owners invited to experience either the Salzburgring, Red Bull Ring, or Slovakiaring.

The sessions are open to everyone from rookies to seasoned racers and include (at ‘Pro’ level) two days on track, a MotoGP-inspired pit box and insights from factory MotoGP test riders Mika Kallio and Dani Pedrosa.

Three different levels are available, depending on experience, with all including an evening dinner and entertainment.

Rookies can enjoy a €450 one-day event, designed for those with little or no track experience. This includes off-track technical skill and safety training and culminates with a 20-minute track session.

‘Ambitious amateurs’ are €890 per person and also run as a one-day event. This is for riders ‘beyond the beginner stage seeking enhanced techniques and racing skills’ and including technical skill training followed by three on-track sessions in the afternoon.

While ‘Pro Riders’ (€3490) get a two-day event designed for experienced riders, with 24 places per group available. It’s recommended that Pro group riders use either an RC390 A2 bike, the track-only RC 8C, one of the Super Duke derivatives, a 790 Duke, 890 Duke, or recently released 990 Duke.

KTM say there will be instructors and KTM ambassadors catering for every level alongside help and coaching from MotoGP stars and former GP racer and team manager Mike Leitner on and off track.

The event will run at Salzburgring, Austria on June 20-21; Red Bull Ring, Austria on July 17-18; and Slovakia Ring, Slovakia on September 4-5.
