Ducati launch limited edition Van Orton bodywork for retro Scrambler Icon

Ducati have announced a special edition body kit for their £9995 Scrambler Icon retro naked, which will be limited to just 50 units worldwide.

Available through dealers as a €690 plus VAT (£592) optional extra, the special interchangeable panelling adds flashes of colour to the fuel tank, side panels, and front headlight surround.

These provide contrast to the silver sides of the tank and engine shrouds, which are commonplace across every Icon colour option.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Scrambler family, each Icon model is also powered by an 803cc air-cooled V-twin, producing a claimed 72.2bhp.

Sitting alongside a Full Throttle and Nightshift option sharing the same engine, all three were celebrated in a European ‘Next-Gen Tour‘ series early last year – something Ducati say helped inspire the new limited edition accessory.

It has been created by Italian duo Van Orton Design, who have previously worked with the official Honda MotoGP team, and Suzuki, as well as mainstream brands such as Disney, Foot Locker, and even a European stadium tour for Bon Jovi. They also worked on last year’s Scrambler tour.

The panels will be delivered within a special box featuring a set of dedicated graphics. There will also be a certificate of authenticity, as well as some special stickers designed to be applied to your bike, to make it that bit more personal.
