Indian reveal 2018 range

Indian Motorcycles have revealed their full line-up of 2018 bikes, including three new models in the Scout Bobber, Roadmaster Elite and Springfield Dark Horse, to bring the total number of models up to 15.

The new Scout Bobber, which Indian revealed earlier this year, heads the 2018 model range and will be in dealers before the end of 2017.

The standard Indian Scout gets a few updates for 2018, most noticeably the inclusion of a pillion seat and foot pegs as standard. The telescopic forks will be replaced by cartridge forks and two new colourschemes will be available; Metallic Jade and Willow Green/Ivory Cream.

The smaller Scout Sixty will stay the same for 2018, but gains two new colour schemes; Polished Bronze and Thunder Black/Titanium Metallic.

The second new model for 2018 is the Springfield Dark Horse, which is essentially a standard Springfield with a few styling changes. The most obvious of those changes is the matte black paint with gloss details, and a smaller front mudguard to show-off the front wheel. The standard Springfield will be available in Metallic Jade over Thunder Black with Silver pinstripe for 2018.

The third new Indian model is the Roadmaster Elite, which will only be produced in a limited run. The Elite features a hand-painted cobalt blue and black paintscheme and 23K gold leaf badging on the tank. Indian’s Ride Command system will come as standard on the Roadmaster Elite, along with a 300-watt audio system.

Chief

Available only in Steel Gray 

Chief Classic

White wall tyres, wire-spoked wheels and chrome hand controls. Only available in Burgundy Metallic.

Chief Dark Horse

A standard Indian Chief with matte black paint.

Chief Vintage

Thie Chief Vintage is now available with black seat and panniers in the new Thunder Black and Star Silver over Thunder Black colourschemes. Sky Blue over Pearl White and Willow Green over Ivory Cream models come wth brown seats and panniers. 

Chieftain

The Chieftain is only available in Steel Gray for 2018, and the front mudguard is now open.

Chieftain Classic

Comes with Indian’s famous valanced front mudguard and three colour options; Thunder Black, Indian Motorcycle Red and Star Silver Smoke.

Chieftain Limited

Only a black version of this model has been available in Europe, but for 2018 four new colours will be available; Brilliant Blue, White Smoke, Thunder Black Pearl with Graphics and Bronze Smoke with Graphics.

Chieftain Dark Horse

Same as the above Chieftains but finished in matte black.

Roadmaster

The Burgundy Metallic Roadmaster now comes with a tan seat. Polished Bronze/Thunder Black and Pearl White/Star Silver colours are new for 2018. 

Roadmaster Classic

Available in Indian Motorcycle Red and the Willow Green/Ivory Cream.
