More firepower: Bullit Hero 250 unveiled

Trendy, small-capacity specialists, Bullit Motorcycles have announced a new 250cc version of their scrambler-styled Hero model. The Hero 250 has all the cool styling of its 125cc little brother but more than double the power output, producing around 25.8bhp from its single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine.

That extra power should mean a more engaging ride for those who aren’t limited by learner licences, especially considering the 250 weighs in at just 148kg.

You also get upside down forks, a Fastec rear shock – designed for the bike – and single front and rear disc brakes equipped with ABS. A retro bench leather seat, knobbly tyres, single front headlamp and one of the coolest looking exhausts on the market complete the look.

“One of the most common questions we’ve been asked by our fans is if we would be making a 250 version of the Hero,” said Henry Maplethorpe, Bullit UK Brand Manager.

“Since its unveiling last year, we’ve had an incredible response, so we are really pleased that the bike is now available from our ever-growing dealer network.”

The new model is available in three colours; this black and gold version, white or the same titanium grey used on the 125. It is available in dealers now costing £3999.
