Called the ONE, the bike was unveiled on social media platform TikTok (nope we don’t use it either...) as it’s a platform mostly used by younger people. The idea behind the One is that it’s a funky, simple to use and reliable electric scooter. It will be available from £2500.

There will be a few different models, with differing power outputs and battery sizes to suit varying licence regulations and presumably to suit different budgets.

There will also be some nice tech under the hood including digital instruments that change according to ambient conditions, full LED lights, keyless start and two throttle maps.

It sticks with the standard scooter layout with a flat floor and pull out passenger pegs plus Piaggio also claims it’s the only e-scoot in this category that has a spacious luggage compartment under the seat. To make charging easier, the batteries will also be removeable to charge in the home.

The bike will be available in the UK by the end of July. Keep an eye on MCN for a full review soon.
