Yamaha unveil 2020 MT-125
The bike also gets the variable valve actuation (VVA) engine we saw in the Japanese brand’s YZF-R125 model earlier in 2019, which uses a solenoid to switch between intake cam profiles and maximise torque throughout the rev range.
To optimise the MT-125’s big bike looks, Yamaha have opted for a 140-section rear tyre, which replaces the outgoing model’s 130-section item.
It will also have revised geometry, resulting in a slightly shorter wheelbase, which, coupled with a new Deltabox frame and swingarm should mean improved agility.
Inkeeping with the MT range, the new 125 will be available in Ice Fluo, Icon Blue and Midnight Black and is expected to hit dealers in December 2019.
