Honda rider Fabien Foret was fastest after first qualifying at Valencia in WSS. He took provisional pole on a CBR600, more than half a second ahead of Italian Yamaha rider Alessio Corradi. Stephane Chambon was third quickest and Stefano Cruciani completes the provisional front row. German Yamaha riders Christian Kellner and Jorg Teuchert are fifth and sixth with Aussie Chris Vermeulen seventh.
