Stuart Easton’s hopes of racing this years Bol Dor ended less than an hour into testing at Magny Cours this week. Easton suffered a low speed high side in wet conditions, but fell awkwardly and badly broke his left heal in the accident. MCN spoke with the Scot moments after he arrived back at the track after having his foot put in a cast in hospital.

Fans horrified at the crash which delayed morning warm-up in 250GPs at Brno on Sunday will be pleased to hear that Japanese rider Taro Sekiguchi is recovering after being involved in one of the most spectacular crashes in recent years.
