2015 Moto3 World Champion Danny Kent will be back racing in the BSB paddock from Snetterton this season with an MV Agusta F4.

25-year-old Kent dabbled in BSB with Halsall Racing at the start of last year. After that he made a return to the Moto2 World Championship.

The ex Leon Camier 2016 World Superbike, soon to be received from the Reparto Corse outfit in Italy, will be run by the new Jap4performance squad in collaboration with MV Agusta Parramatta Australia.

The plan is to start mid-way through this season with a view to a full 2020 BSB campaign, also taking in the Isle of Man TT and North West 200 road races.

“I want to thank everybody in the team and at MV Agusta for the opportunity. I didn’t think anything would come around this year after the opportunity I thought I would have didn’t happen. Now it’s time to get strong, get some testing done and look forward to Snetterton where I’ve not been since 2006.”

Prior to his Snetterton debut, Kent will test on numerous British circuits with a Supersport-spec MV Agusta F3, as well as kickstarting his training regime.
