Webb initially competed in WorldSSP in 2013 when he took part in four races, securing a best result of 11th at Jerez. He’s also previously competed in the 125cc world championship and Moto3. Webb will once again ride the highly successful Yamaha YZF-R6 machine.

“I’m really happy to be staying with the team in 2021,” Webb commented on Twitter. “I’m looking forward to having a successful season and looking forward to having a young teammate!”

WRP Wepol Racing has also confirmed its entry in the Supersport 300 class. Petr Svoboda remains with the team after making four appearances in last season, securing a best result of 17th at the season-ending Estoril Round. The 18-year-old is looking to build upon the experience he gained in 2020.

As things stand, the opening round of the WorldSSP300 season will take place at Assen on April 23-25.
