Estment returned for the season finale at Brands Hatch with the new Powerslide Motorcycles with Catfoss Suzuki team. Next year will mark the team’s first full campaign in the championship.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity with the Powerslide Motorcycles with Catfoss team heading in the 2021 season,” Estment said. “It’s so nice to have things sorted early and be able to head home and begin the preparations and focus on making the 2021 season special.

“Brad, Dale and all the guys and girls involved in this project are full of so much enthusiasm and are ready to provide us with exactly what is needed to compete and race in the Bennetts BSB Championship. I believe in the package I have and am determined to get on the scoreboard and get stuck in amongst the guys.”

Estment has been a regular contender in the Quattro Group British Supersport and Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championships in recent seasons, including podium finishes in the Supersport Cup class.

The Powerslide Motorcycles with Catfoss Suzuki outfit has been involved in the paddock for many years, working closely with OMG Racing and Hawk Racing. They’ve also expanded of the business by opening a new Derby dealership.

Team Owner Brad Clarke will also compete at selected rounds in the Superstock 1000 class during the 2021 season.

“I literally can’t wait to get going in 2021,” Clarke said. “After a solid debut at Brands Hatch with Bjorn, I can see the potential in him, our team and the Suzuki GSXR and firmly believe with a good testing program we can definitely score points and be competitive.

“If Bjorn gets his confidence back, he certainly has what it takes to become a nuisance in the top-quality field. I personally look forward to racing in the Superstock 1000 class as it gives me the opportunity to further promote our Powerslide brand.

“We have got several things we are also working on behind the scenes to make this a successful year and look forward to sharing them soon. A massive thanks to our partner Ben at Catfoss Modular Buildings, the Rich Energy OMG Squad and Hawk Racing who we continue our close relationships with.”

The 2021 season is scheduled to get underway at Oulton Park on the first weekend in May after a series of tests on British circuits throughout April. Currently, 11 rounds appear on the2021 calendar.
