MSVR has made these changes to occupy dates that would have traditionally featured the major international road races. The 2021 Isle of Man TT has already been cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, whilst the North West 200 is unlikely to take place during its traditional May slot.

The pre-season test schedule has also been amended – with the test tour now including four events. The test at Silverstone has been moved from April 7-8 to April 28-29. Meanwhile, the Snetterton test has been switched from April 2-4 to May 11-13. The Oulton Park test, previously set for April 22, will now take place on May 19. Donington Park will still host a test on April 13.

All other dates remain as per the previously published provisional calendar. The 2021 BSB championship will take place over 11 rounds, with each round featuring three races. The Showdown also returns, with eight riders now able to make the cut towards the end of the season.
