Moto3: Kornfeil leads the pack in morning FP3

1 of 1

In a damp but drying third Moto3 free practice session, it was Jakub Kornfeil who topped the timing sheets, with a late charge to the front on his final, chequered flagged lap.

Crossing the line with a time of 2’16.621, riders were lapping over two seconds slower than the fastest time from Friday afternoon, potentially caused by the early morning cool conditions. He was followed home by Philipp Oettl, who trailed the Czech rider by just 0.034 seconds.

Rounding out the top ten were Spaniards Aron Canet and Jorge Martin, ahead of Niccolo Antonelli. Championship leader Marco Bezzechi could only manage a time of 2’18.459, landing him in 21st place.
