MCN's Sport Editor, Michael Guy, tested these Alpinestars Techstar Motocross gloves over the course of two years, covering 1200 off-road miles.
Here's what he thought...
What’s good? These Astars numbers have become my glove of choice over the last couple of years. They’ve done a fair few hours across all sorts of riding, including the two-week BMW GS Challenge in Thailand last year.
For such a lightweight glove they have proved very durable thanks to the one-piece Clarino material palm. Protection on these gloves is minimal, but that is the price you pay for such a lightweight glove that provides excellent feel.
What’s not? I can’t fault these gloves. They’ve lasted longer than expected and have been used for trials, enduro and rally. And they’re still going strong.
