Over 130 bikes go under the hammer at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show on February 18 as the second Coys auction gets underway. We’ve been through the catalogue and picked our highlights, here’s today’s tempting buy...
1983 Kawasaki Z1300
The ultimate ‘autobahn stormer’ of the day, the Z1300’s size and appreciable running costs meant it sold in limited numbers but its rarity and outlandishness now make the six cylinder machine a highly sought-after modern classic. This example is original and unmolested with 2,423km showing on the clocks. It comes to the sale with its original ignition key, owner’s manual and Italian registration document.
Estimated: £9500 - £12,500
The auction takes place in the main hall at the show so you’ll be able to watch the bidding action, if you want to bid on one of the machines you’ll need to purchase a £5 catalogue that admits two people into the bidding area.
