Today's bike of the day is something a bit special, a 916 SP built in 1996. Drool.
“I purchased the Ducati in January 2003 with just under 17,000km on the clock and to date the bike has clocked up nearly 25,600km (that's only 8,600km during my ownership in the last 14 years). The bike was manufactured in 1996 and registered in January 1997. The bike originated from Singapore and was imported to the UK by myself as the owner in 2012 and all import duties have been satisfied according to HM Revenue & Customs. All documentation is available and will be sold on with the bike. I have all the service history since I purchased the bike back in 2003 to date complete with current MOT cert dated 23.08.2017 completed at M&S motorcycles Newcastle - MOT is clear of advisories.
"The bike is fitted with none standard Marchesini rims with as new tyres (original rims sold with bike). Rear paddock stand sold with bike. The sale price reflects the current market for this model plus it comes with a private reg number and the wheels. I can change back the number plate to the original from DVLA - P257 PDA along with the original wheels and reduce the selling price to £11,250.”
“What's better than a Ducati 916? A Ducati 916 SP. Yes it's expensive, but you're getting a truly exclusive bike that will hold its value. This example looks in great nick and it's been used, which is nice. It was built to be ridden, after all. Simply stunning.”
