Featuring an internal sun visor that drops down with a neat sliding mechanism below the left-hand visor mechanism, the helmet also claims to include a shock absorbent, rigid shell thanks to a combination of organic and multi-composite fibres. A multi-density EPS liner also helps reduce the shock of an impact further.
To accommodate all head sizes and shapes, the Shoei comes in a choice of three shells; one to cover XS to M, one for L and another to sit over XL to XXL heads.
On the move, buffeting is reduced by an integrated spoiler and even when combined with the Sena SRL 2 headset (around £260) Shoei claim it does not compromise aero-dynamics. A fully removable and washable lining comes as standard, too.
