MV Agusta F3 first ride: "Unusual but intuitive" says designer Adrian Morton

The designer of MV's new F3 Adrian Morton has told MCN what the bike is like to ride. Naturally he thinks it's good, but given it's his first ever ride on the machine he styled, and he's a regular rider just like the rest of us rather than a superhero Stig-style tester, his observation the handling feels 'unusual but intuitive' is ...

What KTM taught Bajaj about promoting its new Pulsar 220

Paint it orange, ride it lairy: it's a tried and trusted sales technique for KTM, whose partnership with Indian giant Bajaj has yielded the new Duke 125 and access to a wonderfully cost-efficient supply chain for the Austrian firm. Allowing the Pune-based firm to copy its marketing methods is the most obvious form of payback. It's hard to see how ...

2011 Motoczysz E1PC – M1cha3l Rutt3r's 200bhp digital watch

This is the bike Michael Rutter wil ride in this year's electric TT, though if MotoCzysz had it their way no doubt it would be the Digital TT. Because what with all the over-promising and under-delivering the word 'electric' has kind of lost its caché in connection with motorcycling. MotoCzysz are going all-in with 'd1g1tal' - like 'digital' but even ...

Piaggio Yourban 300LT: an English proofreader short of genius

Piaggio's new £5699 Yourban 300 LT is so clever in so many ways it would be a shame if its stupid name got in the way of anyone warming to it. It's a lighter-weight, less troll-like version of the MP3 LT, designed to appeal more to chic inner-city types. Like its non-Yourban MP3 LT sibling it's got the two front ...

What filling up in Malawi reveals about the F800GS

Here’s a great argument for the superiority of the F800GS over its bigger brother, the R1200GS. It’s lighter, goes further on a tank of gas, is easier to pick up when you (inevitably) drop it, and it’s even fun at filling up time. Where’s the filler cap? Not buried under the tankbag, no sirree! Mega handy when you’re going for ...
