Forma Adventure boots become firm favourite
Time tested: 6 months/15,000 miles
What’s good? These are, without doubt, the most comfortable motorcycle boots that I have worn. They’re rugged and have seen me through plenty of miles this year. The soles are fairly chunky but not so much that they are rigid, they’ve remained flexible and give a good feel for what’s happening on the bike, both when sat down and also standing up on the pegs. They’re comfy to walk in, too.
The trio of plastic buckles on each boot makes getting them on and off a breeze and means I don’t have to fiddle with laces. I like these boots so much that they’ve taken over as my go-to item of riding footwear. They’re so comfy that I barely notice that I’m wearing them, yet their well thought-out design and CE certification is very reassuring.
What’s not? The boots will keep moderate weather at bay, but over prolonged use in the wet they will give up and let water through, despite the waterproof claim; they take ages to dry too. Also, thanks to the wet problem and the continual use, they’ve also developed a bit of an odour issue, which is now so bad that the boots have to be kept in a separate room in my house.
