What’s good about the Dainese Latemar Gore-Tex boots?
These waterproof boots saw me through a cold and very wet winter of riding with no issues at all. They were comfortable immediately and even in the coldest and wettest of rides they have never let me down. I managed to have a low-speed crash while wearing these recently and my right foot was unscathed, despite me landing heavily on that side. There’s loads of adjustment to make the calf fit snugly. Even in the heat of a European ride my feet stayed pretty cool.
And what’s not?
They are reasonably expensive as sports-touring boots go, but as they haven’t let in a single drop of water through a grim winter (and even wetter summer) I don’t think they’re poor value. They do lack the racing flair of some boots.
